About
Why AOG Finder exists
An aircraft on ground needs a part that is really there, with its paperwork. AOG Finder is a parts pool for airlines, MROs and repair shops, with rules built for exactly that.
Why
Built on two problems
Two things AOG desks deal with, and the rule on AOG Finder that answers each.
- STOCK
At the AOG desk: Parts advertised as in stock that are not on the shelf.
On AOG Finder: A listing hides itself unless the supplier confirms it in stock within 72 hours, and every supplier confirms each part is in its own stock.
- CERT
At the AOG desk: The certificate comes late, only after you have called and asked.
On AOG Finder: The certificate and its date are on the listing. Buyers at approved companies open the file before they ask.
